On another note (and more for the people who are seeing this after the post-fallout, or re-visiting hoping for an update), it seems my post is being taken way out of context, after it was picked up and blasted all over the interwebs. While I did repeat a rumor (paraphrasing a verbal comment an associate made, perhaps the emotion of the conversation was lost in translation), 90% of my post was more of a soap box on the possible ramifications of the rumor – not the 100% accuracy of the rumor.

Suffice it to say I can’t say much more (now) – my plan was to generate discussion on the ramifications – not the validity or 100% accuracy of the of the rumor. Tis also a shame, because I think I made some good points on the ramifications – the loud echo, as it were – and now I’ll have to save them to repeat on some other post!
